2018 NFL Draft First Impressions

2018 NFL Draft Quarterbacks

On the offensive side of the board, the quarterback position makes a big comeback. USC Quarterback, Sam Darnold, sits atop the NFL Draft Board as the grand prize of the greatest 2017 season loser.

For now, at least, Darnold reigns supreme. But the season can change everything though. And, it will be interesting to watch how the 2018 NFL draft prospect ranking changes as the season progresses.

UCLA quarterback, Josh Rosen could press Darnold for the first pick of the 2018 NFL draft. Rosen comes in just behind Darnold for now.

And, late blooming Wyoming quarterback, Josh Allen, also appears in the top ten draft choices on the 2018 NFL Draft Board.

2018 NFL Draft Offensive Tackles

After a down year in 2017, the offensive tackle position makes a resurgence. Notre Dame offensive tackle, Mike McGlinchey, headlines the talented assembly of offensive lineman. McGlinchey appears as a top five 2018 NFL draft choice right now.

So far, five offensive tackles appear on the NFL Draft Board. Clemson offensive tackle, Mitch Hyatt, shows up as a early to mid-first round draft choice. And, Florida offensive tackle, Martez Ivey, comes in as a later first round draft choice.

2018 NFL Draft Board Defense

As the NFL game evolves into a passing game, the edge rushers (defensive ends and outside linebackers) continue to climb up the NFL Draft Board.

Seven edge rushers populate the NFL Draft Board. LSU defensive end, Arden Key, leads the pack as a top five 2018 NFL draft prospect. And, it seems seven edge rushers going in the first round could happen.
